Adobe Bookshop

This is awesome! If you're in SF this week, go look.

"For one amazing week in November, Adobe Bookshop in San Francisco has agreed to allow its estimated 20,000 books to be reclassified by color. Shifting from red to orange to yellow to green, the books will follow the spectrum continuously, changing Adobe from a neighborhood bookshop into a magical library—but only for one week."

Kiwi

I wonder which came first?

Kiwis are good, except my tongue starts getting sore if I eat too many of them, very similar to how it hurts when I eat too much pineapple. Too acidic. Ouch.

Top 50 Places to Eat

Food news because everyone loves to eat.

World's best restaurant is the Fat Duck in London. It beat out French Laundry(in n. cali) and El Bulli in Spain. The chef of French Laundry also has a restaurant in NY called Per Se which is also in the top 10.

Now I really want to go to French Laundry, the average reservation has to be made at least 2 months in advance. The chef is also affiliated with Bouchon in Vegas at the Venetian. The prices dont look that bad.

R.I.P Min

Too much has happened this past week.

A old friend of mine died in a motorcycle accident last friday and soon thereafter his girlfriend committed suicide because she felt like it was her fault (he was on her way to see her). It was all over the news. It's like the story of Romeo & Juliet. That's 3 deaths for me in one month. : (

Thanksgiving Potluck Brunch Party

This is an invitation to:
A Thanksgiving Potluck Brunch Party

Location: Tracy's house
When: November 25, 2004 at 11:00am.
RSVP in email/aim & also state if you can, what you're going to bring. It doesn't have to be anything big because it's just brunch. Sandwiches, salads, mac & cheese, dessert, side dishes etc. It'll give me an idea of what I want to make also so there's no doubles. Forks, spoons, plates, drinks are taken care of. I'll be calling some other people but everyone's invited, esp. if you read my journal! Let them know also if you can! See you there!
*Gobble*Gobble*!

I love to sleep in on rainy days. It's so nice to wake up to the sound of rain dripping off a roof or splashing against the windowsill. When it rains, it means my roommates and I don't go to class. Our own personal rule. And it rains a friggin lot here in Norcal, so there goes half the semester. Hehehe.

I like the smell of fall and of winter. I love San Francisco in December. Cold clean air is so refreshing compared to our smoggy LA air. NY winters are nice too, with the exception of the nasty sewer odors whenever you walk somewhere. Humid east coast summers aren't appealing at all though.

Hope u guys are voting tomorrow!
