So I decided to sign up for a new credit card. After doing my research I decided on a Citibank card. I filled out the boring long on-line credit card application thoroughly and pressed submit and voila, “Page cannot be displayed.” I hit the back button, “You must refresh this page”. I filled out the app over again 3 times and the same thing happened 3 times. Mother f-----!

Champagne French Bakery & Café

200 South Beverly Drive Beverly Hills, CA 90212
310-271-4556

This is a very small cafe with tiny little intimate tables. The menu boards hang down from the ceiling with braided rope, and there are several white fans additionally. You may also wish to sit outside and watch the cars zoom by or observe the passers-by, however Beverly Drive is a very busy street, so that should be a consideration.

I was dying for brunch so decided to take a chance on this little café I’ve been hearing about. I decided on the Parisian combo which consisted of half a brie/pear sandwich, a salad (Caesar), and choice of soup (french onion). My meal counting a fountain drink was $7.50.

The food was absolutely delicious for brunch, but I'm sure it would be equally enjoyable for lunch or early dinner. I was quite pleased at the food, presentation, the caring service. This will definitely attract the trendy crowd, and perhaps families for brunch. During lunch hours this would be a great little cafe to go to on your break, or perhaps an early dinner before a movie or theatre. If you wish you can just pop over and grab a cup of gourmet coffee and croissant or other scrumptuous pastry.

Tip: Park in the free 2 hour parking lot on the same side block as the café.

If...

1. If you woke up tomorrow morning and you were the opposite gender, what would be the first thing you'd do? I would probably have to go to the bathroom, so pee standing up!
2. If you could be invisible for a whole day, what would you do? Go steal merchandise and shove it down my invisible pants.
3. If you could completely get rid of one fashion trend that you personally don't like, what would it be? Boho. If people all need to follow one trend, let it not be frumpy clothing.
4. If you could dye your hair ANY colour, what colour would you choose? I would take it all the way. Bright pink.
5. If you could look like any celebrity, who would you choose and why? Angelina Jolie. I love her dramatic facial features, her height, and her slender figure.
6. If you could spend one hour with ANYONE, (alive or dead) who would it be, and why? The person who started my family tree. That would be insane. “Hi, I’m your great x 100000 grandaughter.”
7. If you won a million dollars in the lottery, what would you do with the money? Pay off loans, invest in real estate, buy a house near work (yes, I love my job), buy a hybrid, and travel to Europe, Singapore, China, Switzerland, Egypt. Nothing too extravagant.
8. If you could tell one person ANYTHING, what would it be, and who would it be? A former crush of mine back in the 3rd grade Eric that I used to have the biggest crush on him.
9. If you saw your favourite celebrity in the street, what would be your first reaction? "Oh look, it's..."
10. If you could change your first name to anything you wanted, what would you change it to? Phoenix.
11. What's one feature of your appearance that you absolutely like? My long legs.
12. If you were told today that you had only a month to live, what would be all the things you would do, or say before you died? Tell people how I feel about them. Good or bad (mostly good), I would want to die without regrets.
13. If you could change any part of your appearance, what would it be? Some extra cushion in the boobage, just a little.
14. If you had your own line of cosmetics, what would you call it, and what kind of products would you make? In Parvo Cosmetics. In Parvo meaning "In miniature" in Latin. Miniature sized cosmetics suited for those "I buy and never finish my make-up" personalities. Paul & Joe looks with a Kiehl's presentation. Ta-daa.
15. If you had your own line of underwear, how would you design it? Seamless and see-through w/ stitch embroidery for those sexy days. And of course the staple low-cut boy briefs with contrasting silk piping a la American Apparel under-roos. 100% cotton. Made in the U.S.A.
16. If you could have one super power, what would it be? The super power to manipulate people's thoughts. Yes then the world would be MY oyster.
17. If you had the choice would you rather be Marilyn Monroe for a day, or Madonna? Madonna so I can know the world of pilates and yoga, and know what's it's like to be a Kabbalah -ist for a day.
18. Do you believe your dreams have significance? Definitely. Dreams are a window to your most innermosts thoughts and feelings, usually fears, sometimes even premonitions. It’s a great way to learn about yourself, and luckily I always remember them.
19. *Total number of films I own on DVD/video: Over 20.
20. *The last film I bought: Roman Holiday
21. *Last film I watched at home: Monsters, Inc.
22. 6 films I watch a lot or mean a lot to me: Life is Beautiful (makes me cry), Titanic (for its historic nostalgia and costumes), Kill Bill (for those days you feel like kicking someone's ass), Charlie’s Angels (girl power staple), and Alice in Wonderland (to make you understand what it feels like to be high).

Charles Barkley Quotes

I don't think I'll ever quote another ex/athlete again, but I thought these were funny...

"Colonel Sanders is the greatest white man that ever lived."

On Magic Johnson's return to basketball: "We're just playing basketball. It's not like we're going out to have unprotected sex with Magic."

To Kenny: "Oh man! I can't stand the X-Files! I don't believe in Extra-Terrestrials... until I saw your girlfriend one night. She needs to phone home."

During the Bruno's Memorial Classic Pro-Am: "Cat [Reddick, a female soccer player] was fantastic but when you lose to a woman, it means you suck at something. There are two times when you know you suck at sports -- when you can't beat the women and when you can't beat the smart kids." and later "Like a couple of years ago when I went to the Auburn-Georgia Tech game. We lost and I knew we were in trouble. We couldn't beat the smart guys."

TNT's Charles Barkley, after watching a clip of San Antonio's David Robinson getting hit in the groin area by the Lakers' Robert Horry: "It's always funny when it happens to someone else."
