They're filming the TV series "Summerland" in my neighborhood today. I swear they're always filming something here and it's always a disturbance because first, the don't let us park on the streets because they have to park their vans, trailers, and equipments, they're loud as hell, you can always hear someone yelling outside, sometimes at night they use these blaring bright lights to light the scene, there's police that have no respect for the neighborhood residents and tell them to move when they're walking their dog or something. But I guess it's all kind of exciting. You get to see them film sometimes and see some actors/actresses. Last time I saw Brian Mcknight, and then it was that KFC commercial at my neighbor Tracy's house, and actors from that movie "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton". But my parents hate it and glad we're moving to someplace quieter. But hey it was their fault for moving here in the first place, but at least we get paid sometimes for our tree hanging over the scene or a 1/4 of our gate being filmed. Funny. But hey I'm proud; Our neighborhood was featured in Los Angeles Magazine for being one of the best neighborhoods to live in. I guess if you want your house to be featured in a movie on on TV, get paid good money, and you want to live in a hotel for a couple days while they shoot, this is the place. But if you don't want getting letters saying they're filming and you can't park anywhere or do anything disruptive, this is definitely not the place. Oh yeah, the reason I'm up so early is because I can hear the running engines of the huge trucks that are parked outside my house.
Hey I just saw Kay Panabaker who plays Westerly from Summerland. They're straightening her hair with a flat iron across the street.
