Have you noticed they all look the damn same in those studio shots?
For example, like the overly pucked and/or shaved eye brows; thin eyebrows make their face look bigger yet they do it anyway. They either have no eyebrows or eyebrows shaped like McDonald's M's yellow arches. They think it's artistic or something; some even do it to make them look intimidating or bitchy, when it only makes them look like a clown.
Pertaining to Korean girls, you know the ones that put tape on their eyelids or even get surgery to create a fold to make their eyes look bigger? Can't they be satisfied with their Asian features? I mean, look at Lucy Liu. She has chinky eyes, yet everyone thinks she fits the definition of the exotic Asian. Does she go put tape on her eyes? No, she'd probably think it was damn silly. We both have freckles but I can tell she's not trying to cover them up and neither am I. Freckles are a rarity in Asians! I embrace it!
Some think having caked on foundation and powder will create a mask to change their appearance and cover their flaws. Do they not realize that it is very obvious to everyone they are wearing excessive amounts of make up? Do they realize they look like every other Asian girl who does the same thing?
What is with the Asian girls who do this? When you think into it, I feel it's an insecurity issue. They want to fit in the definition of "pretty" many narrow-minded Asian make up to a skinny, almost anorexic girl, with long straight hair (most likely dyed to an almost blonde color), with tons of make-up caked on.
Make-up looks best when it enhances your natural beauty. For instance, if you have nice eyes, then it's best to accentuate your eyes with eyeshadow...or if you have nice lips, shiny lip gloss. However, it just looks nasty when people just cake it on not even thinking they'll look really fake. And holy crap it's scary when it comes off, because you've never seen what they really looked like before!
"Queen Elizabeth was never fully dressed without her make-up. In the early years she wore little, but following her attack of the smallpox in 1562, she would wear quite a lot to cover up the scars left on her face. She would paint her face with white lead and vinegar, put rouge on her lips, and paint her cheeks with red dye and egg white. This make-up was very bad for her health, particularly the white lead, as it slowly poisoned the body. While the Elizabethan tried very hard to take care of their teeth, and knew that to keep them clean was to keep them healthy, they did not have very sophisticated dental care, and teeth rotted. As a consequence, Elizabeth had to have several teeth removed as she grew older. To prevent the appearance of hollow cheeks, she would stuff rags into her mouth."
What people do. *Le sigh.

The whole upper-case lower-case type of communication I admit has toned down in the past couple years but there are still people who do it. Shouldn't people want to sound intelligent?? Because they don't when they type like a teeny bopper. They think this is some type of trend and you know, nowadays you gotta follow those trends to be hip! (sarcasm) People seem to get more immature and less individualistic as the years go by. *Le sigh again....
