Michelle Kwan at Worlds

Michelle Kwan skated 2 seconds off her 2 minute 40 second time limit for the short program. HOW COULD SHE?!?? A five-time world champion like her knows that you just CANNOT do something like that. Judges at the world figure skating championships followed International Skating Union guidelines and deducted marks when she exceeded the 2 minute 40 second time limit for a short program by two seconds. By ISU rules, that kind of violation requires a 0.1 deduction off both the skater's technical and presentations marks....the clock starts running as soon as the skater makes a movement and ends when they stop moving, not when the music begins or ends, which means Michelle was skating too slowly. She got a technical mark as low as 5.1 out of 6.0, talk about ouch, and she skated cleanly, but the low marks dropped her to 4th place. Hence, Sasha Cohen took first place, again, with 4 perfect marks of 6.0. However I'm not gonna give it to much to Sasha for getting those marks; the worlds hand out 6.0s as if they're free. That pisses me off, however still, Michelle's losing it....
